Tell us what the litter is so we can take the right equipment to remove it safely. For example:

• needles or glass
• general household or builders rubbish
• garden waste
• furniture or whiteware (such as a. mattress, couch or fridge)
• a dead animal
• a bag of unknown rubbish

Tell us the exact location of the litter so we can find it quickly. For example:

• on the road
• on the footpath or berm (grass verge)
• in a park
• in a stream, pond or drain

Tell us if and how it’s an immediate safety risk to people. For example:

• it’s causing a fire or flood risk
• it’s blocking traffic
• it’s a hazardous substance

Finally, tell us if you know who caused the litter.
